N°2 Postpartum SUPPORT-
VIRTUAL & IN PERSON
Postpartum Services-virtual & In-Person
In-Person postpartum Support with Zero to Nine looks like……
Create 3 customized plans with the help of your doula. You will receive a personalized postpartum plan which will include how many times you and your doula will meet, personal postpartum goals, and so much more. Your other 2 plans will be selected by you and personalized (feeding routine, sleep routine, meal prep plan, etc.) Plans help to relieve stress and to organize your thoughts.
Provide emotional support so that you feel heard and to normalize your postpartum journey
Normalize your family's unique postpartum decisions. Each family's lifestyle is different. What may work for your friend's household may not work for yours, that's OK. So often in society, we are told that different is wrong. Your doula is here to tell you otherwise- Create a safe system that works for your family!
Discuss your pregnancy and labor. Each pregnancy is different, and so is each woman. As your doula I will normalize your experiences and hold a safe space for you to share. Even during the postpartum journey, taking time to process your birth experience is beneficial to your healing.
Connect you with local resources so that your family can receive specialized care (chiropractor, acupuncturist, lactation Consultant, etc.)
Provide resources (podcast, articles, books) regarding postpartum topics such as: newborn sleep patterns, postpartum depression, working parent tips and other family topics.
Self care support and tips so that you can feel like the best version of yourself. When you pour into yourself, you can support your family better.
Your doula will share a variety of newborn and postpartum tips and tricks (swaddling, how to bottle feed, how to bathe your newborn, etc.) The goal is for you to feel less fearful or stressed when it comes time to do tasks for yourself or baby.
Provide a helping hand around your home, during the first months of parenthood (postpartum) there will be many new transitions you and your family will experience. Having an extra set of hands to lighten the load and to care for your newborn will allow for you to rest, finish household tasks, work, etc.
Breastfeeding or Bottle Support whichever way you decide to feed your newborn is your choice. You have options and we are experienced in both bottle and breastfeeding support. Your doula is here to help you navigate any hiccups you may experience such as: how to position yourself during feeds, how to properly burp your baby, which bottle is the best fit, etc)
